ECE Ambassadors Shine During Summer Celebrations
Our Early Childhood Education Ambassadors (ECEAs) have been busy showcasing their dedication and passion for the ECE sector. On June 18, they attended the Greater Milwaukee Foundation's "A Milwaukee For All" event, a beautiful gathering where our ambassadors were honored as guest speakers. Ambassadors Taffie, Diana and LaDonna represented our ECEAs, highlighting the importance and power of a collective community voice.
Taffie captivated the audience by discussing our upcoming Advocacy 101 training courses. These courses aim to empower early educators, ECE providers and the community by exploring topics such as advocacy and wellness. Ambassadors Shanice, Liz and Arati were also there to cheer them on, and the audience warmly received their message. After the speeches, many attendees congratulated and thanked our ambassadors for their efforts in strengthening the ECE sector and community. This event underscored the importance of showcasing our work to build stronger connections and drive continuous change.
The following day, on June 19, our ECEAs brought their passion and networking prowess to Milwaukee's Juneteenth celebration. The excitement was palpable as folks learned about our new community hub - and Milwaukee Succeeds’ new home - at ThriveOn King. Throughout the day, we connected with numerous ECE providers and promoted our upcoming community courses. The event also provided an opportunity to meet many city leaders, including Senator Tammy Baldwin, and discuss the need for continued ECE support.
Our ECE Ambassadors’ presence at these events not only showcased their commitment but also strengthened our community connections, paving the way for continued positive change in the ECE sector.
