Why ECE?
High-quality early childhood education (ECE) is a powerful tool for our communities. It allows parents to participate in the workforce and is one of the best investments we can make in our children’s future, setting them up for academic, social and developmental success.
But too many Black and Brown families in Milwaukee struggle to access quality, affordable ECE.
What We Do
Milwaukee Succeeds brings together a wide range of partners, including child care providers, organizations that support early educators and families, mental health experts, philanthropies, government, and non-profit leaders. This large coalition supports Milwaukee’s ECE sector and expands access to quality, affordable ECE for Black and Brown families.
Our Coalition
Our diverse ECE Coalition brings their expertise, passion, and hard work to our efforts. Together, we’re taking concrete steps to support ECE providers and improve Milwaukee’s ECE sector for good.
