Milwaukee Succeeds Welcomes New Fund Development Manager

Libbie Hodas, Fund Development Manager

Milwaukee Succeeds is thrilled to introduce our new fund development manager, Libbie Hodas, who began with the team on November 4. Libbie brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit fundraising, a deep commitment for advancing equity and a clear passion for building a brighter future for Milwaukee’s youth.

“This position is an excellent match for my talents and background, as well as my objective to use my fundraising skills to advance racial, social and economic equity in Wisconsin,” Libbie says. “I envision a world where all people have equal access to resources, education and support that will empower them to live their best lives.”

Most recently, Libbie served as the lead on institutional giving for Civicorps, a West Oakland, California-based nonprofit dedicated to providing young people with resources, networks and opportunities for upward mobility. Through her work, she increased funding from foundations, corporation and government agencies, securing essential resources for youth. Her success was built on her ability to cultivate meaningful relationships, engage diverse donors and design corporate engagement strategies that uplifted both the organization and the community it served.

Now back in Wisconsin, Libbie is ready to channel her drive into empowering Milwaukee’s youth and building a more equitable city for all. "The guiding principles of Milwaukee Succeeds speak to my desire to advance social justice and end systemic barriers to education and career success for young people in our community," she says.

Libbie’s expertise in fund development, relationship-building and mission-driven work promises to further energize Milwaukee Succeeds’ mission and deepen the organization’s impact across the community. We can’t wait to see the amazing things she accomplishes here!
