Kelsey Hau Transitions to New Role at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation

Kelsey Hau (second from the right) attends the 2023 StriveTogether Convening in San Francisco alongside other members of the Milwaukee Succeeds team.

We are pleased to announce that Kelsey Hau, our first-ever fund development manager, will be taking on a new role within our parent company, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. Starting Monday, July 22, Kelsey will join the Development & Philanthropic Services (DPS) team as the associate director of institutional partnerships.

Kelsey has been with Milwaukee Succeeds for a year and a half, during which she’s played a pivotal role in our fundraising efforts. Her leadership in developing and executing our fundraising strategy, including prospect research, grant writing and donor cultivation, has been invaluable. Kelsey’s efforts have significantly contributed to our success in aligning fund development with our strategic goals.

During her time with the team, Kelsey also collaborated with DPS, serving as an early childhood education expert for their campaign, partnering in the ThriveOn King ECE fundraising initiative with Malaika Early Learning Center, and managing a portfolio of donors and funds.

We are excited to see Kelsey continue to excel in her new position and look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly have at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. Please join us in congratulating Kelsey on her new role and thanking her for her outstanding contributions to Milwaukee Succeeds.
